TGIF @ Scalar Labs - 25 November 2011 - Deploying the F5 BIG-IP System with Microsoft Exchange 2010 Server.

Join Robin Mordasiewicz, Solution Architect with Scalar, as he does a technical deep dive of deploying F5 BIG-IP v11 with Exchange 2010.

This lunch and learn provides guidance for using the BIG-IP iApp Template found in BIG-IP v11 to configure the Client Access server role of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. By using the template, you can configure the BIG-IP system to support any combination of the following services supported by Client Access servers: Outlook Web App (which includes the HTTP resources for Exchange Control Panel, Exchange Web Services, and Offline Address Book), Outlook Anywhere (RPC over HTTP), ActiveSync, Autodiscover, RPC Client Access (MAPI), POP3 and IMAP4.

Scalar is an F5 Expert partner, and the only F5-Authorized training centre in Canada.

What is TGIF@ScalarLabs?

TGIF@ScalarLabs is an interactive monthly session for a technical audience.

By attending you will learn about how the combination of technologies can make your life easier:

  • snapshot and replication tools can increase your productivity and empower end users
  • virtualization will enable you to better serve your user and business stakeholders
  • squeeze the most performance out of the WAN bandwidth you already have
  • getting more storage bang for your buck
  • using 10GB and converged networks to reduce your cabling headache
  • getting the most out of the network you are stuck with
  • why using multiple tools for backup recovery archiving and dedupe isn't the only option
  • figuring out where your security issues are.

As a systems, networking or storage professional, you are obligated to meet rapidly increasing capacity and reliability requirements, while minimizing complexity, and simplifying management. And you must do so in a business environment where shrinking IT budgets are forcing you to do more with less.

By attending these sessions you will see how your peers are solving their toughest issues while saving time and money.
